Satu Malaysia

The main question is that the idea of Satu Malaysia is it really achievable? Before one can answer this, lets look at the following dialogue in a story of a captain of a ship and his crew..

Captain : Ok crew..From now on, you are all not allowed to smoke in my ship and everyone
workout 5 hours every day after work!

Crew : Why captain?

Captain: Because if you want to sail far, you got to listen to me..United we stand, divided we fall!

Crew :But are you gonna quit smoking and workout with us?

Captain : Why must I? I am the captain! I can smoke as much as I want and lie down and be a
lazy as long as I want.

Crew : (Reluctantly forcing a smile on their face) Aye sir!

[The Crew workout everyday as told and quited smoking while the Captain doing just the contrary...Then time past..]

Captain : Lazy bumps! Row harder!

One of the Crew: If you are in such a rush why don't you roll yourself?

Captain: How dare you talk to me like this! Men, throw him into the sea!

[Crew looking at each other..They are healthy and physically stronger than the captain and a thought came into their mind that is why must they listen to this lazy captain anymore? Everyone is doing what the captain has told them to while he doing the exact contrary..]

One of the Crew : Why must we follow his order? He doesnt deserves our obedience and respect!
We can just feed him to the fishes and then elect a new captain amongst us!

Captain:..............................

After having look at the above story, the message is clear and need no further explaination.. Unity can't be achieved by just coming up with a notion or idea..It must be appreciated by the crew as well as the captain..A monk has no right to ask his followers to not touch woman if himself is a womaniser..An ass has no right to ask his hair to be silky smooth if he is just shitting without wipping up himself!

  1. Lolz if you are going to think on that big scope whether satu malaysia is acheivable then we as a malaysians really do need to take some responsibilty to self reflect in every of our doings to create a better personality in future generations. As for short term or a long term motto "satu msia" is kinda hard to acheive with so many irresponsible ppls out there...But by bringing up idea to make a nation to self reflect is not such a bad idea after all..It may not touch the whole nation heart but maybe to a certain percentage there are ppl out there are trying to make it happen and we should be proud on them not trowing a wet blanket on them instead...Lolz freedom of speech rules i guess...we can convey what we feel and think but as for the results is up to the listener to make their own self judgement on wht suits them best and of course the person who lead should had good role model value...=)

  2. i love the idea of satu malaysia but i hate the way it came about..if its from someone who truly believes in unity of the ppl it is acceptable with open hands..but if it came about with some political objective, its rather sad and pathetic! Such possible objective is quite obvious..Don get me wrong that i m opposing unity of the ppl..in fact, it is exactly the contrary, i do support strongly the many races of malaysia to be united and put their colour behind..but we shall do this on our own..that means even without lame campaign or slogans..
